Group Climbing - Terms and Conditions


The content on this page, in conjunction with our Delivery information page, Returns Policy page and Privacy Policy page forms our company policy. Before submitting an order we recommend that you read and understand the detail on these pages. When you submit an order you are entering into a contract with Group Climbing Limited and you will be bound by the terms described herein.



We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously. If you feel you have received substandard information or services from us we would like to hear about it so that we can prevent the same thing from happening again. We will make every effort to rectify genuine problems as expediently as possible.

Prices and Payments


All prices quoted online, by phone or by email are in pounds sterling. We make every effort to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

It may be that prices and promotions are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. We have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price quoted if that price is incorrect.

Payment is required in full before items are dispatched.

Please note that for online payments if you provide us with a shipping address that is different from the billing address we may ask you for additional proof of identity and further checks may be carried out before processing your order. We reserve the right to cancel any order that appears to be suspicious or fraudulent to counteract fraud.

Receipts and Invoices


You will receive a confirmation e-mail for your order when it is submitted stating the total cost including shipping charges. You will also receive an invoice with the goods when they are delivered. Any mistakes in invoicing or receipts will be corrected as soon as possible.

Force Majeure


Group climbing Limited reserves the right to defer the date of delivery or to cancel the Contract or reduce the volume of the goods ordered by the Purchaser (without liability to the Purchaser) if it is prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of its business due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Group Climbing Limited including, without limitation, acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, acts of terrorism, protests, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labour disputes (whether or not relating to either party's workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials provided that, if the event in question continues for a continuous period in excess of 180 days, the Purchaser shall be entitled to give notice in writing to Group Climbing Limited to terminate the Contract.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that product details and information given in both our printed and online publications are accurate and up to date at the time of issue we give no guarantees as to the accuracy or completeness of such information. Full technical specifications are not necessarily included and furthermore, our policy is one of continuous improvement and the right is reserved to alter details and information at any time as the need arises.

Accordingly, the Purchaser should check any details and information they wish to rely on with us at the time of purchase. Group Climbing Limited accepts no liability in respect of any errors or omissions herein contained or for any loss or damage, malfunction or consequential loss arising from reliance upon our publications. We keep all personal and confidential information secure, it is not shared with or sold to any third parties. The information we ask for is only to verify credit card status and for the processing and dispatch of your order. We do not store credit or debit card information as this is taken by our payment processor, they are fully compliant with PCI DSS which ensures your data kept securely.

Product Reviews


Reviews of products in no way represent the views of Group Climbing Limited. Any suggested uses outside of the manufacturer's recommendations are used at your own risk.

Reviews should be:

• Be written in English.

• Convey sufficient detail about your experience with the product.

• Be assigned a 'star rating' from 1 to 5 based on your experiences.

• Must not refer to a specific price paid for an item, although we will accept reviews that state in general terms if you thought the price was reasonable. We reserve the right to edit reviews to remove references to prices.

We cannot post:

• Those which are deemed insufficient reviews, or reviews to long

• We reserve the right to remove any reference to price within your review before publishing

We endeavour to publish reviews within a 72 hour time period, however during busy periods, moderation may happen out of this time frame.

Group Climbing Limited may publish any comments at their sole discretion, and shall be entitled to change, delete or use this content in other areas of the business.

Disposal of Waste and General Recycling


Your local city/district council provides facilities for recycling most goods including glass, plastic, cardboard, steel and aluminum. These are all found in the packaging sold by most retailers, including Group Climbing Limited.
